Muro Crítico is a project aimed at promoting dialogue between art and the rural environment.

Art materialised in the realisation of murals of different artistic styles in order to offer a varied and representative sample of the different currents that coexist in urban art. Carefully selecting the team of artists, their experience and trajectory being our guarantee to ensure a good result. Muro Crítico is a quality project in which each mural is a singular and unique work of art, inspired by rural identity and a desire for a better society.

Sensitisation. Through the murals, we want to create a space for reflection and dialogue. The problems of our society, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, Human Rights and the vindication of the identity of the rural world are some of the sources of inspiration from which our artists draw to create their critical walls.

Rural environment. In each edition, the festival tours towns in the province of Cáceres where urban art murals are made for a week. The close environment of our towns makes possible a real encounter between neighbours and creators. Experiences around art and simplicity enrich us people and artists.
